DASDA, 4,4′-Diaminostilben-2,2′-disulfonic acid (DASD) is an organic compound with the chemical formula C14H14N2O6S2. It is a white to yellow crystalline powder that is used as an intermediate in the production of dyes, OBA and pigments. It can be prepared by the reaction of 4,4′-diaminostilbene and disulfonic acid. It is also used as a reagent in analytical chemistry, particularly in the determination of copper ions and other metal ions in solution.
