DCDA, Dicyandiamide (DCDA) is an organic compound with the chemical formula (NH2)2C=NH. It is a white crystalline solid that is soluble in water and polar organic solvents. DCDA is used in the production of melamine and other chemicals, as well as in the treatment of water and waste. It is also used as a flame retardant and a curing agent in the production of adhesives and coatings.
